As an associate with The Ledbetter Law Firm, APC, Amie Jacoby provides legal services to individuals and small businesses across Southern California in the areas of trust and estate planning, lemon law litigation, and the resolution of business disputes and transactions.
Amie graduated from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law in 1991 and brings 27 years of experience to the Ledbetter Law Firm, APC. Prior to entering private practice with the Ledbetter Law Firm, APC, Amie was a trial lawyer in the public service sector in Hawaii from 1992 to 2002, working for the State Public Defender’s Office, Corporation Counsel for the County of Maui, and the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii. Amie has now turned her focus to consumer rights with the Ledbetter Law Firm, APC in Manhattan Beach. Amie began her commitment to helping clients in consumer advocacy while working at the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii and she brings her passion for helping clients and litigation experience with her to represent clients in the South Bay with sound advice and enthusiasm.
Amie graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with honors from the University of California, Irvine in 1987 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Comparative Literature. Amie has lived in the South Bay with her family since 2003 and is active in the community with the Neighborhood Watch program and her local Parent Teacher Student Association. Amie is licensed to practice law in Hawaii and California and is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central District and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Since 2005 Amie has also been a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
